Installation and subscription access
QuickPLS is free to install, but the complete application requires an active QuickPLS subscription entitlement confirmed by Microsoft Store. Launch Access is currently free and may be withdrawn for future acquisitions. Pro Monthly and Pro Annual may be offered later at the localized prices displayed by Microsoft Store. No fixed period of free availability is promised.
Billing, renewal, cancellation, and expiry
Microsoft manages acquisition, recurring billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and expiry. Cancellation normally preserves access until the end time reported by Microsoft. A purchase is effective in QuickPLS only after a refreshed Store licence confirms the entitlement. When no current or Microsoft-cached entitlement can be established, only subscription, recovery, legal, support, and exit functions remain available.
Permitted use
While entitled, users may use official QuickPLS releases for research, teaching, learning, validation review, and internal analysis. Users remain responsible for method selection, settings, backups, interpretation, institutional requirements, and independent verification where required.
Restrictions
Without prior written permission, users may not sell, rent, sublicense, host, commercially redistribute, publish modified builds, rebrand, white-label, remove notices, circumvent Store access enforcement, or use QuickPLS source code to create a competing software product or service.
Local files and user responsibility
QuickPLS projects are ordinary user-selected local files. Store installation, update, cancellation, expiry, or uninstallation does not transfer responsibility for backups and does not guarantee recovery of damaged or deleted files. Users should retain original data and independent project backups.
Research limitations
QuickPLS does not guarantee journal acceptance, publication outcomes, regulatory acceptance, suitability for a particular study, or numerical identity with another software product. Supported scope, warnings, and validation evidence for the installed version must be reviewed before relying on results.
No warranty and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickPLS is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties, and the copyright holder, authors, and contributors are not liable for research conclusions, publication decisions, data loss, business loss, or indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing law
Subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded, these terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts in Delhi, India.
